Notification Types for Airbyte Cloud

Stay up to date on your workspace by enabling one or more of the notifications.

Failed syncs and successful syncs:

A connection sync has finished, you can choose to be notified whether the sync has failed, succeeded or both. Note that if sync runs frequently or if there are many syncs in the workspace these types of events can be noisy.

Automated Connection Updates:

Airbyte detected that the connection's source schema has changed, Airbyte will update your connection and send you a notification message.

Connection Updates Requiring Action:

Airbyte detected a schema change that requires your attention to resolve.

Sync Disabled Warnings:

If a sync has been failing for multiple days or many times consecutively, Airbyte will disable the connection to prevent it from running further. Airbyte will send a Sync Disabled Warning notification when we detect the trend, and once the failure counts hits a threshold Airbyte will send a Sync Disabled notification and will actually disable the connection. Since the sync will not continue to run as you have configured, the Sync Disabled notification cannot be disabled.

Upgrade Required:

Airbyte will also let you know of any impending connector upgrades that require your attention. When a major version change is published, we'll provide a window for you to approve the change before your version is updated. This allows you to safely upgrade your connector with full awareness of any required changes to downstream transformation or analytics models.
